Me and Coursera

I had been working as an Android engineer for one and a half year.

It was the decision that I made by the time I was graduated with a college major that I did not possess any interest at all.

By self-taught and watch online lecture videoes I gained sufficient knowledge to develop an Android application and I found a job later.

However the lack of basic Computer Science knowledge had been a huge obstacle for me to further my developer career. Unlike practical skills such as Android or web development, there are not many online resources to cover this basic knowledge field.

Textbooks from college are normally vague and hard to understand for me, so I turned to Coursera for help, and I do found one extremely helpful course which is Algorithm I(and II) lectured by Prof. Robert Segewick and Prof. Kevin Wayne.

Prof. Segewick had made the course content quite well-orgranized and easy to absorb, and Prof. Wayne’s design of homework is also hard but intereting to work on.

I have just finished learning this course Algorithm I and I feel it is totally worth it, maybe I should take a full review of this course and write detailed notes about it, since I did not make many in last time learning it.
