Everyone wants a very good job. It can be a dream of everyone but it is not the cup of tea for everyone. In this roar of unemployment era, the question is, what to do for being selected? How can anyone better reply to it other than the one who does recruitments? So we, a group of seven members decided to do the task of asking such questions to a hiring manager. I was accompanied by our group leader Zain Javed, along with Aneeqa Kiyanni, Qasim Jutt, M. Ahsan, Muhammad Rizwan and Sultan Raza. One of Rizwan’s friend Engineer Bilal Amjad is working as assistant production engineer at Dynamic packages while other one Engineer Salman Ahmad is working as chemist at Global Ink and Chemicals, so we decided to contact them. We contacted them and ask the HR Manager to answer some questions. HR manager agreed for 15 minutes meeting, and give wonderful ideas to equip for the interview .It was wonderful experience to meet Mr. Adnan Iqbal. Our main questions were;

· What type of communication skills and presentation skills are preferred in an interview?

· What is the importance of eye contact?

· What documents are necessary during the meeting?

· What dress code is regarded is at an upper hand?

His answers were interesting yet predictable, following is the abstract of his feelings and preferences. Professionalism is of core importance among all the capabilities looked in the candidates applied for a specific post. On a lighter note, once a shopkeeper was asked that how you get to know that this specific person will shop here or not. He replied in a very decent way, we can recognize them even from their shoes. If they are wearing low quality shoes then how he can buy high quality clothes. It means that your dressing shows how you are? What are your intentions? What are you going to do? No one wants to hire anyone who doesn’t depicts a respectable citizen, simply, if you are going to an interview with unprofessional dressing and expecting for your selection then you are definitely on the wrong side.

Similarly, mere good shoes and clothes doesn’t guarantee your success, other skills like eye contact and a firm handshake also a positive impression on your recruiter that you are a passionate person because they want to hire someone who has passion and deep love for their job.

What if you are a recruiter and doing recruitment interviews, a person dressed gently, entered in your room for the interview, he did a firm handshake, looks more than mere professional and said that I didn’t brought my resume because I was getting late? Would you select him? Obviously not!

So it is DEEP! Dressed professionally, Eager to join, Equipped with important papers and Passion. These four takeaways marks your success in the interview or even your life afterwards!
