12 Free Fun Things to Do While Staying at Home

We can try to make the most of the situation and keep productive and sane while the pandemic lasts. There is no need to check the data reports every 10 minutes. It’s good to be informed, but getting obsessed with the news or panicking won’t do any good.

Being stuck at home is not great, but it has its positive sides. I got my little list of activities to do over the next days or as long as needed.

If I still played World of Warcraft, I’d probably not notice what is going on outside. Video games are the cure for boredom and being stuck at home for prolonged periods of time.

Do you remember the Gold Miner game? An absolute classic. I played it for an hour yesterday and will play some more today.

The main secret is just to keep playing and leave any problem of today for tomorrow.

Playing games all day can be exhausting. Working from home too. Taking a nap throughout the day is the perfect relaxation strategy that will keep you sharp, fresh and productive.

My work schedule now is to wake up around 9 am, work until 12–12:30 pm, have a good lunch and take a nap afterward. You kill 1–2 hours with a nap, feel amazing, and ready to work again. What can be better than that?

Mid-day napping is what will make you live till one hundred years young.

Apart from sleeping, one my of favorite activities during the apocalypse is watching streams. Are you a fan of chess? The Candidates Tournament is happening right now and you can watch it for free on YouTube with Grand Masters commenting and analyzing the games. You can spend 3–4 hours watching chess games just like that.
