Spiritual Death

A corpse in the church that sits its life away

It stands, it sits it does whatever everyone does

No one knows what the corpse feels, but they are only allowed to assume it’s next move

A grave is made. It sits and waits for something to fill the void the empty space it possesses

Like the corpse it sits and waits for something or someone to fill the space

Once the space is filled, it feels full but unsatisfied because that soul is trapped in a whirlwind of choices.

The corpse moves like a zombie, compliant to the things around it

The human corpse moves like a tortoise when it feels like it

As it sits in the church its spirit slowly begins to leak

It starts to leave the body leaving the body empty like a car with no gas, its life slowly leaves.

Of course the human does not notice this; it simply carries on with its life following what's its told to do like a puppet.

The spirit leaves and the corpse moves but slows down as its life source leaves

The grave was already made

After all your body is your grave

And the corpse did not cherish it’s grave

So instead it prepared it for death.

Spiritual death.
