The 30 Best Movies Of The 2010s

The 2010s is the best decade of movies that we’ve had since the 1990s. In other words, in my opinion, the 2010s were definitely an improvement on the 2000s (if there’s any doubt in your mind, ask…

My Adventurous Experience Climbing A Water Tank

The title might not sound like much but the experience was exhilarating. This adventure happened in TamilNadu. Not going to elaborate on the location any further (for personal reasons). Me and my two friends, lets call them A and S, usually met at the nearby public playground (by playground i mean a large expanse of bare land) and we used to fool around like every teenager around our age would (16 that is) . I would always spot the water tank in the distance standing high of the ground. I wish to myself that i would climb on top of it to see the view from atop it but only one thing stopped me, the fact that entering that area was trespassing let alone climbing.

Days would go by fantasizing about seeing the view from atop so sate those desires we three would climb to the terrace of our house. I personally preferred A’s house because it was pretty high up. The thing that made me decide to climb it in the end was spotting two people on top of it one day doing something and then a few days later a few more people were spotted on it. That was it A suddenly decided to climb it. I was wiling to climb but the guilt of breaking the rules was high at that moment. On S’s idiotic attempts to build excitement and A’s persuasion did i change my mind and choose to climb it.

The climb was pretty scary for one we were trespassing, two we were climbing on a really sketchy looking concrete spiral staircase which not only was narrow it had some of it’s handhold worn around the top of the tank, and three we were in full view of the surrounding. All of these fears combined is pretty nerve-racking but we made it to the top. The view from the top was incredible. As far as i could see there was a layer of green covering the ground (wish i could see this in Delhi). Me and my friends were just enjoying the thrill of standing on top of something so high and open that frequent winds would assault us. we could even see specs of buildings really far away that we never imagined could be seen. I even dared a peek at the ground from that height and man was it scary.

After another nerve racking set of stairs while getting of the water tank did we finally reach the ground. We laughed like idiots because of the adrenaline and dopamine rush. We planed to climb it again as we returned to our homes with the memory of an exhilarating experience.
