How do I get to Baton Rouge? The quickest option is to fly. I check on the GPS that Bloomsburg has a municipal airport. I drive over there.

To my dismay, I see no planes on the tarmac. The same for the hangars. This is very strange. It’s not normal for an airport to have no airplanes. The reality is that should expect the unexpected.

I might as well drive. It’s a 20-hour drive (more or less). With a sleepover somewhere, I can be in Baton Rouge tomorrow night.

I breathe deep and start my trip down south with the radio on, hoping to hear that voice again.
