George Washington’s Warning

I would suggest that a cult is a subtype of faction or party as George Washington called it, and described its extremes when the faction gets too much power under a leader. To quote Geo. Washington:

Washington also noted that you cannot eliminate faction. It is inevitable. You can only hope to recognize it in order to restrict its harmful lies and deceit.

Everyone joins into communities of deceit. Most all of us can, and do, move between them over our lives.

Unfortunately for Trump, psychopaths are incurable. Schizoid psychopaths particularly incurable. Narcissistic schizoid psychopaths even more incurable, and dyslexic narcissistic schizoid psychopaths even worse. With his mental illness, we know he will not get better, only worse.

Fortunately, the rest of us, who have some empathy, connection to reality, love others, and can read, just get depressed in these islands of deceit, and depression is an acute, temporary, illness. Assuming the psychopaths (or sociopaths) don’t get us killed first.
